§ 24-34. Alternate judge.

In the absence or disqualification of the judge, municipal court may be held by an alternate designated by the mayor and council. The alternate judge, when presiding, shall have all the duties, powers and authority of the judge. The mayor or mayor pro tem may be the alternate so designated.
